Community and action based groups inspire us to hope for and work towards a better tomorrow.
Recycle-A-Bicycle (RAB)
RAB is a non-profit organization dedicated to youth job training and environmental education in New York City. RAB teaches young people the benefits of cycling and recycling, how to maintain and repair a bike, and how to ride safely in an urban environment. Graduate teens may be employed in one of two RAB retail shops. The project is organized so that kids are able to both learn and take action on their lessons. The combined efforts of these young people, remove over 12 tons of bicycle material each year. The material is processed in an environmentally responsible manner. The majority of bikes are refurbished and then earned by kids, sold, or donated to a good cause. Steel is taken to the scrap metal dealer, and tubes are delivered to Gaelyn & Cianfarani.
Support Recycle-A-Bicycle's efforts: make a financial contribution, patronize their retail stores, or donate an unwanted bike. To learn more about the organization, visit www.recycleabicycle.org.

These animal and earth friendly products are some of the finest on the market. We've enjoyed them in our homes and our design studio, shared them with our fashion show guests and encourage all of you to support those who have made our journey possible.
